I'm new to website building, so bear with me as I figure out HTML and CSS and further customize my site. My dream is to have a quiet place away from the hubbub of social media.

Eventually I'll collect my various writings here - I like to write science fiction and commentary on philosophy, history, current events, etc. I'd also like to move my blog over here, as my old WordPress site is more hassle than it's worth.
